“Michael is an extraordinary physical actor, but also … there’s a kind of femininity in Michael, and I’m sorry Michael you’re on the stage with me, but there’s a certain kind of beauty about him as a man. And often … (audience laughs) No, no, no, no it’s not meant to be humorous at all, far from it in fact. Often that doesn’t get translated onto the screen. It’s one of those things that stirs inside us but often doesn’t get translated onto the screen, and I think that’s extraordinarily important. And I think Michael is just a real artist because he has the capacity to translate that. You go to the cinema, you see stuff on television - there aren’t a lot of people who can translate or stir a certain kind of thing that’s within us all and put it out on the screen. I think his talent is amazing, and I’m just so happy to be able to work with him and be able to call him my friend. And I hope we see more of him, with clothes or without clothes.”
